CHRISTMAS FAIR

St. Petersburg’s Christmas market typically runs from mid-December. This year’s Christmas Fair will be held for the sixth time. Almost 70 stalls offer traditional Russian crafts and foods such as blini (pancakes) and hot drinks. An ice skating rink and a children’s theater are part of the annual entertainment at the St. Petersburg Christmas market. For the first time organized a celebration in the international format - our national tradition of Christmas and New Year present, many foreign countries, including Britain, Germany, Spain, China, USA and other countries. For 25 days every country house to show the public their own cultural program and entertain guests with dishes of national cuisine.
NEW YEAR’S EVE
• December 31, from 2:20 am to 04:00 am
• Location - Palace Square, Nevsky Prospekt, the Spit of Vasilevsky Island.

On Palace Square New Year’s Eve will be installed four scenes, each of the various planned concerts.
Only for one night in the Palace Square will become a disco ball-room. Place the main festival will be fenced off around the perimeter of the huge panoramic screen. Getting into the center of this projection, the person experiences the illusion of change to a different reality. In its structure, New Year’s will be a dance show, consisting of five clusters. The timing of a range of from 11:00 pm to 00:40 am, 2 range from 00:40 am to 2:20 am, 3 range from 2:20 am to 04:00 am. The photo studios will be organized with the ability to take pictures for free.
Nevsky Prospect
from 2:20 am to 04:00 am - scenic area on the Nevsky Prospekt, Ostrovsky Square, in the arcade and Minor Street Stables. They serve a variety of musical groups - from jazz bands to singers “hip hop” and folk ditties. Swindlers invite everyone to take part in various fun competitions.
